With so much going on in the world today, it has gone mostly unnoticed that 2025 marks 15 years since the 2010 Haiti Earthquake when over 200,000 people lost their lives and 1.5 million people were displaced. The 2010 Haiti earthquake remains the most devastating natural disaster any country has faced in the 21st century.
This month, we celebrate the accomplishments that your support has made possible since that time:
● Launched The Children’s Academy and Learning Center, our model for school-based community development, currently serving over 500 PreK through 10th-grade students
● 3 Partner School buildings completely rebuilt
● 3 Partner School buildings majorly repaired
● 5000+ students have received a high quality, locally relevant education
● 6000+ teachers, parents, and community leaders trained
● 50,000+ trees planted
● 750,000+ hours volunteered in Haiti and the US
● 8000+ people engaged in our mission to Help Haitians change Haiti through education

Unfortunately, this great work is currently at risk. The situation in Haiti is dire. Armed gangs have taken control of large swaths of the country, terrorizing communities and crippling the economy. While we’re proud that all our schools remain open serving over 1500 students each day,
this instability has led to a suspension of international grantmaking towards Haiti. This has hit Haiti Partners especially hard, forcing us to compete with more organizations for fewer available funds.
As we weather this extraordinarily challenging time, we ask that you consider a significant special gift by June 30 to protect and defend this work. The timing is right as:
- Your gift will be matched to $25K
- 100% will go to programs thanks to the generosity of major donors who make up The Circle Fund, our Admin and Fundraising costs are covered!

It takes just a few minutes and your endorsement is a powerful way to bring new people to the cause.
